Las Palmas is the capital of Gran Canaria, the Vegueta and Triana neighborhoods have been declared Spanish Heritage Sites and represent the heart of Las Palmas. Vegueta is the oldest neighborhood in the city, Triana, on the other hand, extends on the other edge of the Barranco and has become the main commercial and entertainment area. See the Christopher Columbus Museum, the former home of the island's governor and temporary residence of Christopher Columbus before he left for the Americas. Today La Casa de Colon is a museum dedicated to the Genoese navigator and his voyages to the New World.

If it weighs less than 10 kg, it will be allowed inside the ship with you in a special pet carrier. For dogs and larger pets, accommodations are provided in the on-board kennel or you can keep him on a leash on the outside decks.
