The route Linosa Porto Empedocle connects the small island of Linosa to the coasts of Sicily. Ferries run all year round with a day time departure from Sunday to Friday. Four additional weekly departures by hydrofoil are available during high season. 

The two companies operating on this route are Siremar and Liberty Lines.

Ferries Linosa Porto Empedocle On board services

The Siremar ferries allows passengers to reach Sicily in about 7 hours with a day-time departure. Passengers can spend their journey in internal or external cabins with private facilities, comfortable seats in a reserved area and use all the on-board services, such as the restaurant and the bar/cafeteria. Pets are allowed on a leash in dedicated areas or in kennel; some ferries may also be equipped with special pet-friendly cabins. No baggage limit is applied.

The Liberty Lines hydrofoils reach the sicilian coast in only 3 hours with a daily departure in the afternoon. The company offers reserved seats, toilet facilities and sometimes a small bar service. Pets are allowed on a leash or in small cages provided by the passenger. One piece of hand luggage per passengers is included in the ticket; any luggage exceeding in number or size can be booked or added directly at the port at a small fare.
