Ferries Island of Ons Vigo Ferry companies timetables and offers on MrFerry!

If you are planning your trip to the Atlantic Islands of Galicia this summer, you do not want to miss the wild and unspoiled island of Ons. Departing from the small village of Vigo, in the northwest of Spain, you will reach this unique island in about 1 hour and 15 minutes!

You can travel with the ferry companies  Naviera Nabia or Mar De Ons, they both offer high quality service and departures are always on time! On board there is always a bar – cafeteria and restrooms.

Due to popularity of this island we highly suggest you and your travel mates to book in advance. June, July, August and September are always the busiest months and it could be nearly impossible to find a ferry ticket available at the last minutes, specially if traveling in a group.

Please consider that on the island of Ons vehicles are not allowed due to the regulations of the Galician archipelago which does not allowed the transit of vehicles. Children must always travel with an adult, and they are required to show the proper documents (DNI, NIE, passport) when boarding.

Ferries Island of Ons Vigo On board services

Departures between the island of Ons and Vigo are scheduled every day during high season. The ferries do not have garages and don’t carry any type of vehicle – bicycles included - due to the traffic restriction on the island, therefore only passengers on foot will be able to board. There are many free parking lots in Vigo where you can easily park your car before boarding.

Each passenger can carry a maximum of 20 kg luggage to the island. In addition, it is is completely forbidden to disembark any type of animal on Ons Island. The ferry company Mar De Ons gives the opportunity to take the journey with your pet without disembarking. Only guide dogs are allowed on the island.
