According to the Decree of 15.03.2023 issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, from 06th of April 2023 to 31st of October 2023 the circulation on Ischia Island of motor vehicles belonging to or driven by persons who reside in the Campania region is prohibited, with the exclusion of those belonging to the population permanently resident on the island.
Disembarkation is prohibited for any vehicle without a permit issued by the competent authority on the island of Capri all year round.

From 1 June to 30 October 2024, restrictions on disembarkation and circulation of motor vehicles are in force on the island of Linosa. The same limitations are in force on the Island of Lampedusa, from 25 July to 30 September 2024.
From 15 June to 30 September 2024, restrictions on disembarkation and circulation of motor vehicles are in force on the islands of Favignana and Marettimo.
From June 1th to September 30th, The Concell Insular de Formentera regulates the entry of motor vehicles on the island. See more.
During the restricted period, access, circulation and parking are not allowed to the following vehicles:
- Rental vehicles which have not been rented in Formentera
- Quads
- Caravans and campers
