Korcula

Korcula is an astonishing island in the heart of Dalmatian archipelago; rich in vineyards, olive plants, dotted by small villages, it is indeed one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea.The Greek called it Korkyra, Melaina or "black Corfu” due to the extreme wooden zone.
Daily departure from Split or Dubrovnik are available by ferry and ships. a ferry connection is available from Orebic, on Peljesac peninsula.

Small beaches and quiet coves dominates the southern part. Over 200 caves and only 3000 inhabitants: the villages are somehow “out of the time”, with a tiny houses immerse in a deep peace surrounded by nature. The good news is that tourists will find an accommodation easily even in high season.

The town of Korcula boasts its thick walls as in every typical medieval Dalmatian town, with towers and red-roofed houses. Korcula has still a well-kept tradition of chivalry dances to be enjoyed  throughout the villages.

With MrFerry you can book and purchase tickets for ferries to/from Korcula: select the route you want and you will be brought on the page from which you make your reservation.
