🗓️ One of the most important routes is the Procida Naples. The route is operated by two shipping companies: Caremar and Snav. Caremar makes 5 crossings a day, each lasting about an hour; Snav makes 4 crossings a day, each lasting 40 minutes. The distance between the port of Procida and Naples is 12 nautical miles.
🚗 As these are mostly hydrofoils and not conventional ferries, it is not possible to travel with an accompanying vehicle as they do not have garages on board. Only if you travel with Caremar and have a special permit will you be able to travel with your vehicle.
It is also not possible to disembark on the island with one's own vehicle, as the Municipality of Procida prohibits the disembarkation of vehicles in the area during the period from April to October.
🐶 Pets are allowed on the ferries and hydrofoils on the Procida Naples route; they must be properly booked. They also need to be accompanied by a leash, a carrier, a muzzle if necessary and a health certificate.
On these ferries, assistance for passengers with reduced mobility is also available if required, but please remember to request this service in advance for organizational reasons.

There are air-conditioned lounges with armchairs, toilets, a luggage room and a snack bar/cafeteria. You can choose to sit in the lounge, on the sofas in the public areas or at the bar tables and enjoy the crossing.
💺 The only option for accommodation on board is the deck passage, which does not have an assigned seat, but gives you the opportunity to sit in the air-conditioned lounges, in the armchairs, at the snack bar/cafeteria tables or, if the weather permits, outside.
🧳 The Caremar and Snav companies allow passengers to take one piece of hand luggage per person, as long as it does not exceed 15 kg, as the luggage compartment is small, since these are hydrofoils.
