Aegiali ferries About Aegiali

🏝️It is called the blue island because of its deep sea, which blends perfectly with the surrounding nature, creating the quintessential Greek image!
Amorgos offers you a unique and often wild landscape, its cliffs are high and rocky, often touched by the incessant winds.

History tells us that the first inhabitants to set foot on the island date back to the 3rd millennium B.C., later the struggle for the conquest of this corner of paradise involved many populations, including the Romans and Venetians.

During your holiday you can visit the monastery of Hozoviotissa, which is characterised by its white walls and is situated on a cliff with an impressive view.
One of the most important villages is Chora, built on a promontory. On the highest part of the promontory you can admire the castle or reach the neighbourhood of Voreina, full of shops and olive trees, where you can take original and unique souvenir photos.

The beaches are both pebbled and rocky, such as the famous Kambi, with its crystal clear sea, or you can explore the lovely Syrma, with its gentle rocks, where you can relax.
The most famous on the island is Maltezi, with its fine sand and crystal clear waters, a true paradise.
