The ferry crossing Messina Milazzo is performed by the fest ferries of the shipping company Liberty Lines during high season only – usually from July to end of August. The fast ferries cover this route once a day everyday with a navigation time of about 4 hours and 40 minutes.

The port of Messina is one of the busiest during summer season, starting point of numerous ferry crossings such as the Aeolians, Salerno, Reggio Calabria, Villa San Giovanni and Milazzo.

After visiting the city of Messina with its many beaches and historical attractions to discover hop on a ferry to Milazzo and explore the city. Among the main spectacular landscapes you will find the famous Piscina di Venere, which can be reached by a short hike in the nature, the city Castle, Capo Milazzo, from where you’ll have the best view of the Aeolians Islands and of course enjoy the numerous beaches equipped with all comforts.

The Liberty Lines fast ferries are quite busy during high season and it is advisable to book your ferry crossing on MrFerry ahead of time. During the trip, passengers can enjoy the snack bar or admire the coastal scenery while sitting comfortably in an armchair.

Each passenger is allowed to take only one piece of luggage for free, and additional luggage is accepted for an additional charge. Passengers with disabilities or limited mobility can also travel worry-free and receive the necessary assistance throughout the crossing.

Your pet is welcome on board! During the crossing dogs must be on a leash and muzzled, and the other small animals must remain in their animal transport box. On board Liberty Lines hydrofoils, children up to 3 years old are free of charge and children from 4 to 11 years old can benefit from a reduced fare.

In addition, special rates are offered for group and educational trips.
